Backstage Performing Arts Competition brings together studios, schools and independent performers for a supportive day of live performance, useful feedback and well-earned applause.
About the competition
Our regional events are designed for young performers who want to share what they love. Each entry is welcomed with clear scheduling, prepared backstage areas and an audience that knows how much courage it takes to step into the light.
Participants receive constructive written feedback from experienced educators and performers. The focus stays on growth, presentation and the joy of taking part — not just the final score.
“The best moment is watching a performer leave the stage a little more confident than when they arrived.”

Dates & venues
Schedules are shared with studios ahead of each event. Arrival, warm-up and backstage times are confirmed in the final information pack.
Every venue is chosen for accessible seating, a comfortable warm-up room and a stage that helps performers feel secure. Where possible, sessions are grouped by age and discipline so families can plan their day.
Participants should bring their music, costume and any approved props. A quiet space is available for performers who need a moment before going on.
